LVGL 9 · MicroPython · WebAssembly

Design embedded UIs in your browser. Run them on MegaPy boards.

MegaPy LVGL Designer lays out LVGL 9 screens with drag and drop, renders them with the real LVGL engine and writes the MicroPython for you. Pick a MegaPy display board and go from idea to a working screen in an afternoon.

The editor

Everything you need to build a screen

No toolchain to install and no screen to flash just to see a change. Open the editor, design, and send the result to your board.

Drag-and-drop layout

Place buttons, labels, sliders and more on the canvas. Anchor a widget to its parent on a 9-point grid, or align it to another widget with live guides.

Pixel-exact preview

Widgets are drawn by LVGL itself, compiled to WebAssembly — not imitated with CSS. What you see is what the board shows.

MicroPython, both ways

The generated script sits right under the screen. Edit it, press Apply, and the canvas and properties follow.

Straight to the board

Connect a board over USB from Chrome or Edge, browse its files and write your project onto it.

Saved to your account

Projects are kept in the browser and synced to your account, so you can pick them up on another machine.

Take it with you

Download any project as a zip and keep it in your own repository.

How it works

From idea to a running screen in three steps

Pick your board

Start a project at your board's resolution: Mega800, MegaSquare or MegaPro.

Design and preview

Drag widgets, set styles and check the result in the live LVGL preview.

Upload and run

Send the generated MicroPython to the board over USB and watch your screen come up.
